According to Julian Sargent, group managing director of Style, the exclusive partner to Skyfold in the UK, the Gothia Towers Exhibition Centre in Gothenburg, which showcases five Skyfold moveable walls, can open everyone’s minds to the possibilities of large scale flexible space.

“The Gothia Towers Exhibition is a fabulous project and a great example of what can be achieved with Skyfold,” said Julian.

“The installation has caught the eye of architects from all across the world with real admiration for what this product can offer – not just in terms of having five walls operate simultaneously, but in bringing exceptional acoustic integrity and a real sense of theatre when dividing a very large space.

“It’s great to see such amazing products in different parts of the world and Skyfold’s partners in Sweden have done an amazing job at a time when we are seeing many equally incredible Skyfold projects in the UK.

“Take for example, The Francis Crick Institute in London. Here we used Skyfold to divide a very large stepped auditorium into two separate lecture halls with such phenomenal levels of acoustic integrity that lectures can run concurrently and undisturbed either side of the wall.

“With Skyfold being used across a diverse range of market sectors, I’d urge any architect to look at the case studies both on the Style Partitions web site, and from across the world on Skyfold’s web site, to see this incredible moveable wall in action.”

When not in use, Skyfold is housed discreetly in a ceiling cavity, descending quietly and gracefully at the push of a button.

Style is the exclusive UK partner to Skyfold which has seen huge popularity in universities, schools and colleges. It is also used extensively in company boardrooms, hotels and conference centres.
