Meet Katie Mitchell, Style’s new service and repair manager
2021-01-26
With demand for moveable wall servicing and repairs at an all-time high, Style has appointed Katie Mitchell to the role of ‘Service and Repair Manager’ for the south.
Pictured here on her family farm in Dorset, Katie brings extensive experience of the moveable walls sector having previously been with Gilgen Door Systems for 6 years.
She is also daughter of BDO World darts champion Scott (Scotty-Dog) Mitchell who won the tournament in 2015, and when she’s not focusing her time on supporting Style’s moveable wall customers with scheduled servicing and repairs, Katie is a keen darts player herself - totting up 44 caps for the Dorset Seniors Squad.
“Having worked in the doors, gates and moveable walls sector for many years, I couldn’t resist the opportunity to join Style who have always had an exceptional reputation nationally,” said Katie.
“With a nationwide team of highly qualified moveable wall technicians, offering support from our 4 regional offices in the south, midlands, north and Scotland, we are seeing growing demand within Style’s service and repair division, which makes this a really exciting time to join.”
Routine servicing and inspection protects a moveable wall’s longevity, acoustic integrity and ease of use, and regular servicing can see many walls last up to 25 years.

Julian Sargent, Style’s group managing director said, “We’re delighted to have someone of Katie’s experience and calibre on board. She oozes enthusiasm, has very high standards and I know that she will become a very important member of our team. However, if you meet her when lockdown measures ease – don’t challenge her to a game of darts as you may be very quickly humiliated!”
