New ‘sustainable’ moveable wall fabrics from Style
2021-06-24
Leading moveable wall specialist, Style Partitions, is offering a new range of recycled fabric finishes thanks to its exclusive UK partnership with Skyfold.
From July 1st 2021, architects, specifiers, interior designers, contractors and customers choosing any of the Skyfold moveable wall range can opt for either a Marin 1300 fabric or a Resolve 1301 fabric.
The Marin fabric uses recovered plastic ocean waste, of which 90% is post-consumer recycled polyester including ocean waste and 10% polyester, and Resolve uses 100% post-consumer recycled biodegradable polyester and is also bleach cleanable.
With sustainability being a critical aspect of all new build and refurb projects, this green initiative is yet another huge leap forward in Style’s ability to offer the most sustainable moveable wall range in the UK.
“Many years ago Style was proud to be a pioneer of sustainable operable wall solutions by offering the first ever UK EPD certification for moveable walls and boasting the most extensive selection of sustainable partitioning wall solutions across the entire UK market,” said Julian Sargent, Style’s group managing director.
“This latest enhancement to the Skyfold fabric range means we are even more perfectly positioned to help organisations become more sustainable, and this is also another important development for our range of finishes only a month after we announced the anti-bacterial effectiveness of our laminates.”
Style is the exclusive UK partner to Dorma Huppe, Skyfold and SWG offering a complete moveable wall design, installation and after care service.
With an extensive portfolio, customers can choose from simple folding walls through to fully automatic acoustic systems, with a wide range of finishes and glass options to complement the interior design of any room.
