Production capacity is essential when deadlines are tight and materials need to be on site, on time and in perfect condition. Which is why, as sole UK distributors for DORMA, Style’s clients benefit from the vast capability of DORMA’s European manufacturing plant which produces 1000 metres of moveable wall panels per week, and up to 150,000 globally per annum.

“Any contractor, specifier, architect or client will tell you that there’s nothing more frustrating than time slots being missed either because a product is still at the factory, or it has been delivered in poor condition and will take weeks to get another one made,” said Julian Sargent, Group Managing Director of Style.

“This is why it’s very reassuring to have DORMA’s vast capability behind us which not only means they have the ability to produce very large volumes of units, they can also respond quickly if, for example, a panel is damaged in transit. “When construction schedules have changed, we have also been able to request early delivery and they are extremely co-operative when production timings are squeezed.”

As well as production capacity, DORMA has also invested significantly in ensuring products are made to the very highest quality, minimising defects.

“We have extremely close relationships with their factories in Belgium and Germany, which offer fully automated processes and complete quality control procedures,” continued Julian. “As a result, we maintain very strong delivery schedules with panels arriving in perfect condition, which results in a great deal of project efficiency for our on-site teams and our customers.”
