Running the Marathon for Teenage Cancer Trust

2011-04-28

Efrem Brynin, Style’s Skyfold Product Manager laced up his running shoes last weekend to run his first ever marathon on behalf of the Teenage Cancer Trust. The charity exists to improve the quality of life and chances of survival for young people with cancer, and Efrem ran in the Brighton Marathon to raise money for this important cause.

“This is the first time I have ever attempted to run any distance, so the thought of running 26.2 miles was a little daunting,” said Efrem. “However I decided to take on the challenge of the Brighton Marathon to support the sterling efforts of Teenage Cancer Trust. Every day six young people in the UK are diagnosed with cancer. TCT provides units and support directly for these young people ensuring that they are not placed on children’s or elderly wards.”
