Skyfold 100 Event a Huge Success

A gathering of 50 architects, contractors and clients were at Telefonica Digital’s offices in London to celebrate Style’s 100th UK Skyfold installation.
Awards were given to architects T P Bennett, who specified the wall, main contractor Overbury, and Telefonica Digital followed by a demonstration of Skyfold – the unique, vertically rising, fully automatic, acoustic moveable wall which is housed in the ceiling cavity.
In addition, recognition was given for the attendance of Roy O’Flanagan who was the first UK architect to specify Skyfold ten years ago and had the foresight to understand the benefits of what the product could offer as a space division product.

Telefonica has two operable walls in its conference room so that it can be expanded into one large space, or divided in two or three separate rooms , enjoying total privacy thanks to Skyfold’s incredible 51dB acoustic rating.
Because Skyfold is housed in the ceiling cavity, it is completely undetectable when you enter the room, maximising the entire floor space and gliding silently into place with the push of a button.
“The level of attendance at this event demonstrates how much interest there is in this innovative moveable wall solution,” said Julian.
“When we were first appointed as Skyfold’s exclusive UK agent ten years ago we knew it was an astonishing product, but we never imagined how dramatically demand would take off once awareness grew.
“We’re now specified for an additional 20 installations this year alone, interest is at an all time high and we are serving clients in a wide range of sectors including corporate, hospitality, local authority and education.”
