Vertically rising moveable walls continue to grow in popularity
2019-01-31
Skyfold, the ground-breaking, fully automatic, vertically rising, acoustic moveable wall, is hitting record levels of demand.
Hidden discreetly in a ceiling cavity when not in use, and hence taking up no floor space whatsoever, Skyfold has seen demand grow from a wide cross section of industry sectors including corporate, education, hospitality, religion, and local authority.
“Style was proud to bring Skyfold to the UK market over a decade ago,” said Andy Gibson, Style’s director for the north.
“This year we will be celebrating our 250thinstallation with some breathtaking projects to reflect back on.
“At Francis Crick, we sub-divided a stepped and vast lecture theatre, at Vodafone we combined a Skyfold and a DORMA moveable wall to deliver a fully automatic solution using very different types of operable wall, at Henderson Global in London we installed a 59dB Skyfold with stunning boardroom graphics, and at the Engine Shed in Sterling, Skyfold was used cleverly at a tourist attraction.
“There are so many examples to choose from and its clear why this fully automatic solution’s popularity is soaring.
“I would urge any architect, specifier, interior designer, contractor or end-user client to view Skyfold and see the benefits for themselves, if they haven’t already done so”
