Sustainable Solutions the Focus for 2013, as Style Ends the Year Greener than Ever

First and foremost we’d like to wish all of our customers and newsletter readers a very Happy Christmas and a successful New Year. Whilst most people dream of a white Christmas, at Style we’re going to be celebrating a “Green” one!
Having recently announced the first ever UK EPD certification for moveable walls, Style will enter 2013 offering the most sustainable partitioning wall solutions in the UK market. The EPD (Environmental Product Declaration) applies to DORMA’s Variflex, Moveo and Varitrans products.
“Architects, specifiers, contractors and end user clients are now very interested in their suppliers’ green credentials,” said Julian Sargent, group managing director at Style.
“The reason EPD is so important is because it is the pinnacle of product sustainability for anyone seeking sustainable solutions for BREEAM, LEED and SKA rating certification.
“And because we are also accredited by Bureau Veritas to a UKAS standard for ISO 14001:2004 Environmental Management System, it places both our products and processes as being sustainable, green and very eco-friendly. Quite simply we’re a green company providing green products!”
2012 has been another year of inward investment at Style, ensuring that it remains as the UK’s premier provider of moveable wall solutions. And with some outstanding projects completed during the year, the company has also been able to showcase a hugely diverse range of solutions across multiple sectors.
