Working with architects, Cunningham McLean, and Edgewater Contracts, Style was specified to create flexibility in the hotel’s ‘Barbican’ and ‘Temple’ meeting rooms.

In the Barbican meeting room, Style installed two glazed Stylefold 960 sliding folding walls; each with a 42dB acoustic rating.

These walls are quick and effortless to move in and out of position, and can quickly divide the room into either 3 small individual meeting rooms, 1 large and 1 small meeting room, or the area can be opened up into one larger space.

In the Temple meeting room, Style installed another 42dB glazed Stylefold 960 sliding folding wall, this time along the side of the room, enabling the room to either be closed off or opened up into the breakout area.

With RAL 9005 Black Frames, these folding walls are not just a practical solution, but a stylish one too – complementing the interior design of the rooms, and allowing maximum light and visibility.

“Flexible space is a ‘must have’ for hotel meeting rooms, as it optimises their revenue potential by providing the flexibility to cater for a number of separate events concurrently, or host larger gatherings,” said Michael Porter, Style’s group managing director.
