Fully automatic solution
in Canary Wharf
The Boston Consulting Group has 85 offices in 48 countries, more than 12,000 employees, 900 partners and more than 18,000 alumni.
At its Knowledge and Analytics centre in London’s Canary Wharf, Style worked with main contractors, Bluu Solutions, and architects, Create Interior Design, to deliver a fully automated solution for dividing meeting room space.
Offering exceptional 55dB acoustics, and finished in a chic stretched fabric finish, DORMA’s Moveo ComfortDrive was chosen as the most suitable moveable wall solution.
As with all of DORMA’s partitioning wall systems, Moveo has an environmental product declaration (EPD) in accordance with ISO 14025 and EN 15804, and by opting for a fully automatic system means Boston Consulting Group can change the room configuration at the push of a button.
“We’re seeing a significant growth in specifications for fully automatic solutions,” said Julian Sargent, Style’s group managing director.
“The meeting area at Boston Consulting Group boasts stunning views across London, and thanks to the effortless operation of the automatic Moveo they can create two separate meeting rooms at a moment’s notice, offering real privacy thanks to the 55dB acoustics.
“When they need an open plan space for larger gatherings, they simply push a button and the wall moves gracefully and quietly to its stacking position.”
Moveo is available from Style in any finish possible including laminate and polished wood veneers. Additional features include acoustic sound absorption boards, magnetic display boards, dry wipe marker and projection surfaces, plus single or double inset pass doors can be included for ease of access.
