Warner Brothers is a fully integrated, broad-based entertainment company and a global leader in the creation, production, distribution, licensing and marketing of all forms of entertainment and their related businesses.
At the Warner Brothers offices in Charing Cross Road, London, Style worked with De Novo Architects, and contractor, BW, to create a flexible meeting room within a basement breakout area.
Classed as a ‘meet and dine’ environment, the aim was not only to provide the flexibility required to create a small meeting room when required, but to also complement the interior design of the room through a stylish and chic moveable wall solution.
A non-acoustic, manually operated, glass moveable wall was seen as the best solution and by including a crittall effect it offers an elegant, bright and practical addition to the room.
“This is a very classy London basement meeting area, with exposed brickwork and a stunning interior design,” said Michael Porter, Style’s group sales director.
“The look of the moveable wall was therefore just as important as the flexibility it brought to the room, and the crittall effect glass looks stunning in situ.
“What makes this installation particularly special is that it has a double point system consisting of a pair of panels incorporating a door and an end closure panel.
“The pair of panels are hinged together and fold back on each other to move around on the track as ‘one’, which is a very unique mechanism and a clever way of making a simple, 3 panel folding wall work in a tight space.
“This demonstrates, once again, the adaptability of Style’s market leading installation team, and the breadth of our skill base; from some of the largest moveable wall solutions in the UK at major exhibition and conference centres through to small, but very chic, solutions such as this one.”
Style is the exclusive UK partner to Dorma Huppe, Skyfold and SWG, offering moveable wall solutions for all requirements and budgets across a broad portfolio of market sectors.
