With 30,000 employees around the world, Hilti makes construction work simpler, faster and safer while inspiring customers every single day with technologically leading products, systems, software and services.

As part of Hilti’s relocation to the second, third and fourth floors of the 235,000 sq ft Circle Square offices in Manchester, Style worked with main contractor, Cubic Works, and architect, TP Bennett, to create flexible space in the meeting and innovation suite.

Devising a configuration that combines two glass moveable walls and one solid moveable wall, Style’s solution enables the creation of one small meeting room with a separate breakout area, or one very large open plan space for larger gatherings.

The glass moveable walls are both Dorma Huppe Variflex and each incorporates a pass door so that there is ease of access while the walls are in place.

The solid moveable wall is also a Dorma Huppe Variflex, with Kvadrat fabric class C absorption panels to the top and bottom and a writeable whiteboard surface to the middle section.

With a 52dB rating on the glazed systems and 55dB on the solid moveable wall, meetings and events can take place undisturbed offering a practical, adaptable and stylish meeting and innovation area.

“This is a clever arrangement of 3 moveable walls to quickly adapt the room space depending on the events or meetings taking place on any given day,” said Andy Gibson, Style’s director for the North.

“Thanks to the high end acoustic ratings of both the glass and solid moveable walls, meetings can be enjoyed without any interference from outside, and the combination of the absorption panels and writeable whiteboards make the perfect environment for business meetings, training sessions and brainstorms.”

Style is the exclusive UK partner to Dorma Huppe, Skyfold and SWG offering an extensive range of moveable, folding and partitioning walls for all requirements and budgets.
