A Magnificent Venue
Design & Functionality
Offering outstanding meeting and conferencing facilities, etc.venues started life in 1992 and continues to grow. By 2013, annual sales surpassed £30m and in May 2014 etc opened its most ambitious project to date at 155 Bishopsgate.
Working with architects, Synergy, and contractor, KPS Partnership, Style was specified to create flexibility in the main conference hall, with an additional breakout room to the side. This is the second project Style has worked on for etc.venues, as the two companies build up a strong working relationship.
DORMA Variflex was selected as the most suitable moveable wall solution, incorporating its ease of operation, detachable face boards and excellent acoustic integrity of 55dB.
With a white laminate finish, combined with book matched wood veneer, the final solution not only delivered ease of operation and flexibility, but stunning interior design too.
Additional manifestations applied on site were the icing on the cake of this breathtaking installation.
“The standard of room design and functionality at etc. venues are quite incredible,” said Julian Sargent, Style’s group managing director.
“At Style, we’re extremely proud of the strength of our products, people and processes which combine to deliver the very highest quality partitioning wall solutions that result in repeat business and forging close working relationships."
“The photos taken at etc. venues speak for themselves, because this is a magnificent venue for any meeting or conference, and due to the room configuration it can accommodate different sized events at any given time.”
