Style replaces moveable wall
stretch fabric at London Law firm

In 2008, Style installed a number of moveable walls at a London Law firm, enabling them to quickly change the configuration of their meeting rooms each day.

After 14 years of constant use, the stretched fabric finish on the moveable walls had become tired and worn, and in some areas it was falling off making the walls look unsightly compared to the rest of the room.

Style’s service and repair team was therefore called upon to bring the walls back to their original state, and in order to minimise disruption to the client, the work was carried out over a weekend and was ready for when staff came back into work on Monday morning.

“The stretch fabric finish is replaceable,” said Katie Mitchell, service and repair manager for Style South, “and because Style originally installed these moveable walls, we were able to offer the same fabric finish after all these years.

“We therefore spent the weekend on site, removing the old fabric and adding the new, and the final result makes the walls look as good as when they were first installed all those years ago.

“During our time on site, we were also able to carry out a quick ‘health check’ of the walls to ensure they were continuing to operate smoothly, and due to the very high quality of these Dorma Huppe moveable walls they had remained in very good working order and will continue to be a real asset to the business in enabling them to adapt their space.”
