Clarksons Port Services is a division of Clarksons, the world’s leading integrated shipping services group. Having moved to larger premises at Aberdeen Harbour’s Matthew’s Quay in order to reduce its carbon footprint, the integrated shipping and offshore services provider now has 1,600 sq metres of outdoor storage and 2,000 sq metres of customs bonded warehouse at this site.

Working with architects, Philip Rodgers Design, and contractor, TransForm, Style was specified to enable their meeting area to be divided into two separate rooms as and when required.

To achieve this, Style installed a top hung, single wing, Stylefold 120 glazed folding wall with a 31dB acoustic rating.

With an anthracite panel finish, this stylish folding wall complements the interior design of the meeting room perfectly, and the glass panels create an open, light and airy feel while also offering visibility to others that meetings are in progress.

“Our Stylefold 120 folding wall is a simple, yet very effective, solution for quickly dividing space and transforming a larger open plan area into two smaller rooms,” said David Louden, Style’s director for Scotland.

“It is very smooth and effortless to manoeuvre, and thanks to the integrated pass door it can be left in situ as a ‘semi permanent’ room for long periods if desired.”

Offering a combination of high level acoustic integrity and simplicity of movement, Stylefold folding walls are an economical, practical and elegant form of room division.

As a versatile solution it can be quickly installed as a retrofit solution with the least impact on the existing structure, providing an economical and practical option when flexible space is required.
