AutoRek is a product of API Software Limited, which was created in 1994 as an information and data management consultancy. Based in Glasgow, it was Scotland’s first Microsoft Gold Certified Partner for Business Intelligence Services and remains a Gold Certified Partner today.

The first deployment of AutoRek took place in 1998 to handle privatisation and de-mutualisation activity for a number of stockbrokers supporting large share sales.

At its head office in Glasgow, Autorek’s aim was to create a meeting room within the floor space of its general breakout area, creating a private, yet visible, meeting facility as and when required.

Working with architect, Graven, and main contractor, AKP Scotland, Style installed its Vetro Folding wall system, offering maximum light and visibility thanks to a minimalistic frame and hidden hinge detail.

With 40dB Rw acoustic integrity, the glazed folding wall allows meetings to take place undisturbed while retaining the light, spacious and open plan feel of the entire room.

“This is a very stylish glass folding wall with beautiful aesthetics,” said David Louden, Style’s director for Scotland.

“It is also yet another example of the flexibility across Style’s product range of folding and moveable walls to meet a client’s specific needs.

“This glass partition’s chic design was the brainchild of renowned designer, Matthijs Bloom, and is not only a truly eye-catching feature of the room, it is also simple to manoeuvre enabling the meeting room to be set up with ease.”

Style is the UK’s leading moveable wall specialist, and has delivered many very high profile installations throughout Scotland, working across multiple market sectors including corporate, education, hospitality, local authority, religion and health.
