Goodwin Proctor is a global 50 law firm with a history of working on groundbreaking matters, working with clients in the financial, private equity, real estate, technology and life sciences industries. The firm employs more than 1,000 corporate and litigation attorneys and full-service teams to advise clients.

At Goodwin Proctor’s offices in London Style worked with WATG architects and contractor, Overbury, to create flexible space in the reception area and conference rooms.

In reception, a DORMA Varitrans ComfortDrive fully automatic moveable partitioning wall was chosen – a real showpiece for visitors as it glides effortlessly into place at the push of a button. See video

In the conference rooms, 2 DORMA Moveo moveable walls with a smart laminate finish enable the entire area to be divided into 3 meetings rooms, 1 very large meeting room and 1 smaller, or turned into an open plan space for larger gatherings.

With 55dB acoustics, this semi-automatic system also offers exceptional privacy when meetings are being held concurrently either side of the closed wall.

“Goodwin Proctor is an excellent example of how different operable wall systems can be used to great effect in the same building,” said Style’s group managing director, Julian Sargent.

“The fully automatic glazed system is a stunning addition to this beautifully designed, and very chic, reception area and the flexibility it offers to divide the space quickly is incredible.

“In the conference room the acoustics were critical and, thanks to the great performance of the Moveo system coupled with the skill of our installation teams, client meetings take place undisturbed in a room that can be reconfigured quickly for different events.”
