Working with architect, C2 Concepts, and main contractor, Skansen, Style was involved from an early stage to develop flexible space in their meeting area in a truly ingenious arrangement.

The final solution allows Heineken to open up the whole area into one large space. Alternatively, they can sub-divide it into any configuration of 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 independent meeting rooms. Then there is the facility to create a combination of less meeting rooms but more space - for example, 3 smaller meeting rooms plus a larger breakout area; also in any combination.

With flexibility, panache and acoustic performance being important, both DORMA Moveo glass Rw50dB and DORMA Moveo solid Rw55dB provided the required acoustic separation and maximum flexibility and light. To complement the interior design the aluminium frames to the glass panels were anodised black in keeping with the colour scheme and office style.

“This movable wall solution is not only a terrific example of creating genuinely flexible space, it’s also a stunning feature offering extremely practical functionality,” said Julian Sargent, Style’s managing director. “As the images show, the glass works superbly well alongside the black panels and both the glass and solid Moveos offer semi-automatic operation with DORMA’s Comfortronic seals.

"This not only makes their operation effortless but also ensures acoustic integrity. And by using toughened glass provides a combination of safety, openness and space."

“We’re delighted to have been specified for this project and to produce a tailored solution for Heineken. Yet again it reflects our award winning products, people and processes to be chosen for these high profile installations.”
