In 2012 and 2013 it was recognised in BDRC’s Venue Verdict Awards as best Mid Sized Group as well as winning the Conference Awards for best venue.

Working with Synergy Architects and contractor, KPS Partnership, Style was specified to create flexible space at the etc.venue in Norton Folgate, Bishopsgate; the company’s newest training and meeting venue in the City.

With a 55dB Rw acoustic rating and classic white decor melamine finish, DORMA Variflex was installed to offer etc.venues a high quality, stunning, clean finish which is effortless to manoeuvre and provides privacy when shut.

Eye-catching graphics add even further panache and, through Style’s configuration, etc.venues can maximise their revenue by renting out 3 individual meeting rooms, open the space out into one larger room and a smaller one, or provide a single, more expansive area for conferences. Pass doors enable ease of access when the operable walls are closed.

"We’re extremely proud of this installation which balances outstanding practicality with chic interior design,” said Julian Sargent, Style’s group managing director. “The walls are very quick and easy to manoeuvre, the configuration offers etc.venues real advantages in the flexible meeting space it can offer to clients, and the overall appearance delivers a breathtaking interior design.”

Variflex is an extremely popular moveable partitioning wall system with very few limits to the architectural creativity that can be applied. A wide range of room proportions can be tailored to individual requirements and its variability and flexibility creates outstanding functionality, even with large room heights or ones with inclined ceilings or angled walls.
