The Radstone Primary School is a new and forward-thinking school located in the heart of Brackley’s local community. It is a happy and vibrant, growing school, catering for 420 children from Reception to Year 6.

Working directly with the school, Style was asked to replace an old moveable wall in the main hall that had been previously installed by another company. This old wall was the full height of the room and was causing problems for school staff who had been experiencing ongoing issues.

Style recommended replacing it with a 3 metre high, Dorma Huppe Variflex moveable wall with semi-automatic operation. This market leading moveable wall is smooth, light and effortless to open and close, and comes with a 55dB acoustic rating.

As a result of its exceptional acoustic barrier, noisy classes can take place on one side of the wall while quieter sessions are held on the other. The semi-automatic operation also ensures that the acoustic seals are applied to the correct pressure each time the wall is used, ensuring optimal performance.

In addition, a pass door was added to provide ease of access between rooms, with the added advantage that wall can then be left in place for extended periods.
